SHAPING THE
FUTURE OF
COMPLETIONS
Completions Technologies
Getting the Completions right the first time, is crucial to bring on production and to the success of the well. Eureka Mellon offer world class completions technologies through our exclusive business partners and our own innovative technology design. All our completions products and services follow the most stringent international standards
CRTi® and CRTe® Casing Running and Drilling Tools – Internal and external gripping tools which are installed on the drilling rig, below the top drive, that enables casing and liner connection make-up and break out and string reciprocation, circulation, rotation, and hoist during casing running and drilling operations. Suitable for standard and chrome pipe applications.
HydroFORM® Centralizers – Robust, one-piece, steel body centralizer used to provide stand-off and improve the installation efficiency of casing and liner systems in conventional, ERD and casing while drilling applications. Available in floating and fixed configurations.
MLT Rings® and DTR® Torque Rings – Steel rings which are installed in the coupling J-section of API threaded tubing, liner and casing connections, enabling increased torque capacity, more durability, and improved fluid flow.
Cement Swivel Tool– A tool installed on the drilling rig, below the top drive, used to introduce cement to the casing string during with option to rotate and reciprocate during cementing operations.
Plug Launcher Tool – A tool installed on the drilling rig, below the top drive, that enables the safe and reliable launch of plugs, darts and balls used in cementing and completions operations, providing a fully closed system that enables string rotation and reciprocation during cementing operations.
VariLINK® and VariLINK-SR Bail Extensions – Extension arms used to extend the reach of drilling bails to assist in the handling of casing and liner when utilizing casing running tools during casing and liner installation operations.
V-LOK™ Tool Joint Lock – A locking mechanism used to secure the connections between mating pieces of equipment, installed below the top drive. to prevent unintentional connection back-off.
Tether Swivel – A fall arrest device used to prevent a casing running tool from falling to the rig floor in the event if unintentional connection back off.
ACT™ Articulating Compensator Tool – A tool installed on the drilling rig, below the top drive, used to address alignment challenges experience when installing casing and liner with a casing running tool.
FCT™ Floating Cushion Tool – A tool installed on the drilling rig, below the top drive, which provides a combination of passively damped axial travel and cushion and used when making up connections with a casing running tool to improve operational performance and connection integrity.
RTF™ Radial Tubular Forming Tool – A tool used to mechanically crimp Volant HydroFORM® centralizers to casing and liner strings, when used in ERD and casing while drilling applications. This tool can also be used to swage pipe to enable the threading of propriety pin end connections.
VolantRED™ Software – A software platform used to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of casing system design and installation, focused on improving casing system integrity and ensuring casing is successfully landed on bottom. The system brings engineering knowledge into the field to optimize well construction decisions, analyzing data from the rig to provide safe surface hook load and torque load limits during out-of-slip running operations, delivering an engineering basis for decision being made. The platform can be used to perform pre-run planning, real-time monitoring, and post-run analysis that can inform future well design and casing programs, providing a port-run quality record of the work performed.
TRUE™ Analysis Tubular Running Efficiency Analysis - Accurately analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) for in-slip casing running performance. The KPI program breaks the casing running cycle into segments and reports the distribution of time used during each cycle, thus eliminating uncertainty regarding the characterization of rig time utilization. Opportunities for improving in-slip efficiency are highlighted to provide an effective training tool for future runs.
Wellbore Inspector® Casing Deformation Interpretation – A software that helps identify and interpret casing deformations to make better-informed intervention, integrity and well design decisions. Its advanced algorithms transform multi-finger caliper logs into accurate 3D representations of the well. Casing conditions can be correctly placed in the global context using the log’s integrated survey data.
LTS: Liner Test Sub, is a revolution in testing Liners once at setting depth. This unique Eureka Mellon design (Patent Pending) is currently being field trialed.
