Job description
Eureka Mellon provides equipment and services for drilling and completion within MENA, due to the successful continuous expansion, we are expanding our operations team and have an opening for a Junior Technician to join us
Responsibilities
The Junior Technician will perform maintenance and repair tasks and be part of developing the engineering procedures. These tasks include, but are not limited to, ensure that all equipment mobilized are checked per standards, coordinating with admins and operations for on time delivery, communicate with suppliers related to maintenance and repair, organise logistics

Perform maintenance and repair on Eureka Mellon products and services

Quality checks on ready to go equipment

Troubleshoot failures together with engineering team

Keep equipment maintenance logs, as well as maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

Keep a meticulous records of spares utilized and ensuring that spares are ordered in timely manner

Coordinate with third party supplies in relation to maintenance and repair

Comply with internal policies and industry regulations.

Perform other related duties as assigned / needed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
-
2 years Diploma or B-Tech degree in mechanical engineering
-
2-5 years of related experience in mechanical maintenance environment

Familiar with drilling and completion equipment
-
Knowledgeable of standards within maintenance and repair in the oil and gas industry
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
-
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs
-
Hands-on assembly, testing and maintenance experience

Familiarity with oilfield downhole tools & practice
-
Self-motivated to investigate and solve challenging problems

Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

Excellent organizational and time management abilities
-
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving techniques
-
Ability to cope with pressure in a positive manner while working to deadlines
-
Good English communication skills.
